Bold design, informed through fearless experimentation. I am an ambitious and driven London based graduate practising in the areas of typography, branding, exhibition and editorial design with a strong interest in architecture. My projects seek to create a narrative through the use of arresting colour paired with inventive and bespoke typography.
Projects
- BRUTAL LONDONI have always been interested in making physical objects and looking at buildings that for some may be ‘unattractive’. Being heavily influenced by post war modernism, this typeface is inspired by some of my favourite Brutalist buildings in London. BRUTAL LONDON, follows a strict grid structure in the form of harsh blocks and thin crevasses where windows would typically be found in these buildings. - Doberman TypefaceA self led project made during the corona virus quarantine. Doberman is inspired by the triangular ears of this distinctive breed of dog. This modern display typeface has nods to Gothic typography with straight, rigid ascenders and distinctive ear shaped counters. It currently comes in one weight and supports all European languages. - BEHIND BARZ - D&AD New Blood Graphite PencilThis brief was set by Google and Hoffmitz Milken with an aim to use the Google Fonts foundry to create a typography led campaign that best represented a cause in a musical movement or genre. I chose to focus on the fastest growing rap genre drill and its recently passed Court Orders on the freedom of speech. This policing of speech is an attack on our youth’s human rights, yet we still like to focus on this umbrella term of ‘violence’ to categorise the genre. I created a flexible typographic sys
