About me
I like to be experimental in my design approach and am curious about learning new techniques. I believe that the design process is just as important as the final outcome. I am a lover of music and the cultures/art that comes with various genres, my work is often influenced by this.
Recently I have become interested in installation art and how I can affect the atmosphere of a place, with my latest project being inspired by Nam June Paik. I used analogue equipment to achieve a distinctly retro, psychedelic style, and I plan on using the skills I have gained from this project to make an installation in the future.

Projects
- Feedback Compilation These are a series of video feedback experiments that I conducted while making my music video. Video feedback is an old analogue effect dating back to the 1960’s, perhaps best known for its use in the original title sequence for Doctor Who. I used this in conjunction with a VHS mixer that I modified to glitch type and imagery. I am interested in using this technique to create more experiments in the future, particularly within an exhibition space.
- Experiments with Video Feedback/Circuit Bending These are a series of video feedback tests using a wide screen projector. When I was conducting projections on the side of AUB’s library it captured the attention of a lot of students; they would often stand and wave in front of the camera and take pictures. Since learning about this style I have become fascinated in how it can completely change the atmosphere of a place. It creates visuals that are attention-grabbing, especially on a large scale. I am pleased with the outcome of these experiments and I plan on doing more in the future.
