My role as Arsenal FC’s Restaurant Preparations Assistant involves planning, creating and displaying restaurant’s festive and seasonal decor at Emirates Stadium. Developing Arsenal’s branding within Club Level’s restaurant’s for match day & non match day (corporate function’s & banqueting events) is key to what myself and the team constantly evolve.
Being a studio intern at Aitor Throup’s during this time involved, developing patterns for Umbro’s football kits to have snug fit for players and patterns translated to be mass produced for team’s supporters. In addition, I reworked patterns of designer’s own collection for seamstress to execute clean finishes. Researching and testing materials/mediums suitable for contemporary collection as well as sportswear’s performance materials was also my responsibility feeding back to the Studio Manager twice weekly.
I assisted the designer with research and sourcing for her Streetwear Collection as an Intern. Making patterns transerrable for mass production, target audience had wide range of urban RTW fittings, using sample models and research was my duty.
As a Studio Assistant, packaging clothes & accessories in a pristine and uniform manner in preparations to be shipped to stores globally was my primary role. I was also responsible for sourcing a range of materials and studio equipment, organising the studio’s logistics such as order dispatching.
