This is very varied role with a lot of responsibility, working very closely with owner/creative director. My duties include but are not limited to; - Liaising with suppliers, buyers and wholesalers, via email, phone and in person. - Management and ordering of stock, components and studio supplies. - Meeting direct customers in the studio. - Generating invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes for both private customers and large wholesale accounts. - Managing payment of invoices, reconciliation and raising cheques and other payment. - Uploading, writing descriptions and pricing of new products on company website as well as other Internet portals. - Liaising with web design company with modifications to improve the site both aesthetically and to make it more customer-friendly in order to increase sales. - Delegating and monitoring tasks to freelancers, studio assistants and interns. - Assist with the design process of new collections, capsule collections for wholesale customers and online retailers. - Managing the relationship with our biggest web customer, including the initial seasonal meeting, joint selection of stock, price negotiation and preparation and delivery of final order. - Handling the organisation and implementation of Trade shows, including Pure and Scoop.
Supporting the Production Manager in achieving the goals of the department and brand through management of the production process. Helping ensure design intention and production strategies are achieved with design, sales, shipping and vendors in all stages of the product lifecycle. o Managing the transportation of raw materials/reference components to factories. o Oversee the maintenance/organisation of the raw material library in the studio. o Purchase order creation/submission, tracking of raw materials for samples and production. o In conjunction with Design and the Production Manager, ensuring completion of seasonal development specs. o QC of imported components/materials to ensure the brands quality standards are maintained. o Maintaining accurate confirmation sample reports and photo records. o Organisation of confirmation sample library.
Duties included all of Topshop sales advisor role (below) as well as; - Running the store solo when store manger away. This includes opening and closing of store, cashing and balancing tills at end of day, delegation of tasks to staff, reports, etc. - Managing the weekly bestsellers within the store and ensured staff were aware of these. - Improving staff sales via reports, visual aids and energisers.
Duties included production of all jewellery sold by company, packing of orders and running general errands.
