I am a trend focused and process driven material explorer currently studying a BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design degree at Leeds College of Art.
My work is meticulously crafted from concept to creation, exploring the links between global trends, artistic theory and process driven material exploration. A love of research, design, colour and creativity has developed into a personal practice that confidently explores these avenues through concept/trend creation, innovative surface design and product styling. Elements of spontaneity are embedded into my creative practice through an intuitive work process that allows projects to come to life organically through a creative approach that is centred around hands-on experimentation and sensory experience. As a result of this, my work is tangible, personal and above all, future thinking.
