I was inducted into the National Communication Association's Honor Society for my academic excellence. I also received scholarships from the Leeds School of Business and the Redwood Scholarship Foundation for my academics. Whilst completing my degree, I completed numerous internships, mentorships, and extracurricular activities. I started the first ever organization on campus to encourage women on campus to enter the male-dominated technology industry. I participated in numerous hackathons, mobile development clubs, and the CU Core Leadership Program.

Effective Altruism Global Scholarship Recipient

  • Awarded a scholarship to attend Effective Altruism Global's Conference at Google HQ. Effective Altruism Global is history's largest gathering of people who use evidence and reason to identify the most effective ways to improve the world. Characterized as "the social movement of our generation," the conference took place at Google HQ in the San Francisco Bay in August 2015. Speakers include: Elon Musk, Jacquelline Fuller, and Daniel Dewey. The conference focuses on the central question: How can we do the most good?
