  • What Would You?
What Would You?Final year event in collaboration with Bournemouth Blind Society to raise awareness for the visually impaired. We are creating a multi-art form day in Bournemouth town centre mid April to raise awareness and get the community involved. We currently have support from Think Big! The theme for the day will be the five senses, dedicating each one to a marquee there will be interactive workshops along with visual art. The purpose is to reconnect people with their senses.
  • Festival of Festivals
Festival of FestivalsAs part of our degree we created an event called Festival of Festivals which was a one day family friendly festival mixed with culture and arts. We partnered with Dorset Race Equality Council for this event. The festival itself had many workshops, performances and market stalls inside of Meyrick Hall with over 40 contributors.

    Global Tax Events Intern
     -
I had a 3 month work placement working with the global tax events team at EY based in London. I gained a lot of experience during my time there and was able to use the knowledge from my degree into their events and vice versa. My main event that I contributed to was aHead of Tax, a three day tax related event held in Zurich that was attended by 300+ clients and EY employees. I supported the team pre, onsite and post event with tasks such as researching nominations, registrations, developing documents for staff contacts and creating and updating the onsite schedule alongside the project plan. Along with this event, I contributed to Young Tax Professional of the Year with the marketing and assisting on site visits.
