Global Tax Events Intern

  • I had a 3 month work placement working with the global tax events team at EY based in London. I gained a lot of experience during my time there and was able to use the knowledge from my degree into their events and vice versa. My main event that I contributed to was aHead of Tax, a three day tax related event held in Zurich that was attended by 300+ clients and EY employees. I supported the team pre, onsite and post event with tasks such as researching nominations, registrations, developing documents for staff contacts and creating and updating the onsite schedule alongside the project plan. Along with this event, I contributed to Young Tax Professional of the Year with the marketing and assisting on site visits.
