A hardworking, passionate, organised, creative and dedicated Event Producer with years of experience in delivering outstanding memories and creative experiences across the live event & festival world. A core member of the team behind the UK's Best Major Festival & part of the Bestival Family - working as assistant to Creative Producer across the Bestival Brand: Camp Bestival, Bestival, Common People Southampton & Oxford and Bestival Toronto. Interested in creating fantastic creative spaces and in building the Street Feast brand across London, then went on to work on pop ups across London and with brands such as Patron, Moniker Art Fair & London Cocktail Week. Lucky enough to be tutored and mentored by founders & producers of Glastonbury's seminal late night area: Block 9, at Roundhouse London as part of a Young Festival Producers project.
- I provide on hand daily assistance to Bestival LTD's Creative Producer & Director across all of Bestival LTDs events and brands: - Bestival - Camp Bestival - Common People Oxford - Common People Southampton - Bestival X Goldsmiths - Bestival Toronto Assist in the curation, production and delivery of all creative content across our sites, including dealing with suppliers & ensuring they are paid, listed on the Akkreditaion system and looked after on site. Manage the creative crew rota, send out all Deal Memos to contract their work, and being a point of contact on site. Work closely with the marketing department to ensure the festivals creative vision is presented clearly and properly in all marketing materials. Manage guest lists for Creative Production department. Bestival Toronto: - Managed all travel requests from the UK team and ensured all flights bookings were correctly managed and communicated to the passenger & to SFX our Canadian Team, along with arrival details for each person - Created eligible Visa letters for each crew entering Canada - Liaised with Canadian finance team to ensure all contractors and crew were paid on time - Assisted in the shipping of containers oversee's from Isle of Wight to Toronto, which held our creative production such as set pieces and key Bestival icons such as the inflatable church & I LOVE BESTIVAL LETTERS.
- Assisting in curating, booking and managing all arts content at both Camp Bestival & Bestival which saw a huge variation of content from Guardian Literary Institute talks , produced and delivered Martin Creed’s balloon installation at Bestival, programmed spoken word stages to delivering a late night program of interactive performers. - Daily on hand assistant to Bestival Arts Producer; creating press releases, advancing artists, producing relevant H&S documents such as method statements and risk assessments. Sending invoices, Deal memos & managing budgets & PO’S.
- Supporting Founder Dominic Cools – Lartigue in running a 10 week creative, cultural pop up venue in Haggerston. - Assisting from the initial research to booking collaborators, and running the venue for 10 weeks. - Managing all enquires, staff and trader liaison.
- Responsible for managing, booking and liaising with all traders for 3 sites across London - Assisting and take forward all business development opportunities - Ensuring that all internal team liaison is communicated properly within the company, managing staff, traders and the site at London’s biggest and most reputable street food event
Assisting, organising and coordinating a huge range of events and private functions from private dinners, gallery launches to boutique Food festivals in Dorset. - Committed to creating a strong ethos for the company and created a company newsletter for staff and friends of HIX, with the successful aim to engage, inform and involve everyone with the world of HIX. Created a successful internal marketing initiative scheme. - Produced training manual content for other staff to promote themselves to such high standards of levels of customer service of myself and the brand expected. - Creating a selective membership card service for vip clients (such as Damien Hirst), for entry to the exclusive late night license parties at the company’s renowned ‘Mark’s Bar’, Soho
