  • Freelance
  • Working as a host and deck hand aboard luxury power yachts. When the boats were out of the water during the off season I would be responsible for the upkeep and management of them, everything from cleaning the teak decks, upholstery and interiors to reapplying the anti foul and paintwork on the hulls. When we were aboard during the season I would be responsible for helping cast off, making sure the owners and guests were accommodated with refreshments and food and helping to moor the vessel at any given destination. The job required a high level of professionalism and diligence as I was in constant touch with the guests prior to their trips to ensure they had all the comforts they could possibly want aboard as well as being an engaging and interesting host throughout the trip!
