I worked closely with Opera Europa’s Director and General Manager, Nicholas Payne, and OperaVision’s Project Manager, Luke O'Shaughnessy, to ensure that all content on the OperaVision platform is delivered and presented in the best way for our audiences.
My main tasks included building a relationship with thirty opera houses around Europe involved in the project and being a trusted contact; writing taglines, introductions, synopses and insights about the scheduled operas; creating both monthly and weekly e-newsletters for five-figure subscriber base; producing and creating extra content to enrich the audience experience; coordinating the translation of these texts into French and German; coordinating the subtitling process; and enforcing the agreed editorial planning schedule with partners and the internal team.

I was the Dramaturg for Welsh National Opera, assisting Artistic Director David Pountney CBE in delivering world-class opera to new and established audiences. My main responsibilities included: commission-editing the programme books; delivering pre-performance talks; preparing surtites in English and Welsh, including translating from Italian, Russian and German; advising on future repertoire; and advising the marketing team on repertoire-specific campaigns.
