About me
I graduated in 2009 from the Central School of Speech and Drama with a First Class honours degree in Acting. Since then I have worked extensively as an actor and have also had a range of day jobs where I have been able to utilise my excellent communication skills and learn new ones within different industries.
I am driven by challenge, am incredibly organised and thrive under pressure. This is one of the many reasons that I started my own business, Taffi Campers, with my partner in 2015. We wanted to re-shape the image of camping with a modern, fresh and dynamic campervan rental company based in London and South Wales. Starting my own business has encouraged me to think innovatively and allowed me to develop skills in research, budgeting and advertising. I have relished the opportunity to find new and exciting ways to market and develop the brand; for example collaborating with other local businesses, planning itineraries and blogging. This has enabled me to explore alternative aspects of my creativity further.
Alongside this I have established a career in acting, two varied roles within a corporate office and freelance evening and weekend work with the Guardian in the events department. Part of the events role involves public speaking, introducing the speakers to the audience and managing the running of the event.For this role I have to be exceptional at time management, extremely adaptable and confident with people, both individually and in large groups. I frequently have to problem solve solve in all of my roles both independently and as part of a team which I find incredibly rewarding.
