About me

Having worked for a corporate global events company and smaller innovative startups - i'm just starting out in the world of freelance and looking to work on interesting and challenging projects. I have a background in Fine Art and love seeing creativity and innovative ideas being transformed into mind blowing events. I've gained over 5 years experience in managing corporate events, projects and campaigns and have worked on large scale events as well as smaller sized projects. I'm meticulous over the detail and belief that planning and problem solving are key to juggling multiple projects at any one time. Working in a fast paced environment suits me best as I love to get stuck in and move fast. I'm most interested in working with creative, innovative agencies who are pushing the boundaries in event delivery and design.

  • WONDER London is a creative design agency based in Shoreditch. I managed several projects including: Google Cloud NEXT Partner Management (London, Madrid, Amsterdam & Milan), Google VIP Dinner at The Design Museum, Google booth design for Gartner D&A and Google's branding @ The Picture House as part of Advertising Week. Main tasks included: • Managed multiple projects; leading the production process from pitch to de-brief. • Negotiated and managed sub-contractors and vendor contracts (ensuring value for money and effective cost saving without negotiating on quality of product/service). • Managed complex budgets for and on behalf of the client. This involved internal cost tracking, ensuring timely payment of suppliers and regular budget reviews and reporting. • Worked closely with our in-house production and creative team to deliver design, print and production elements. • Documented project: created schedules, contact reports, onsite agendas and show flows. • Set, communicated and maintained timelines and delivered projects within client budget. • Researched and sourced venues, negotiated contracts and completed site inspections on behalf of the client • Maintained existing client relationships, ensuring a strong, open and honest partnership.

  • Internet of Business is an innovative events startup, specialising in ‘The Internet of Things’. I successfully launched and managed their VIP campaign which included project managing each VIP event we ran as well as implementing the VIP acquisition strategy for both Europe and US based events. Tasks included: • Successfully built a portfolio of VIP contacts (CxO, Managing Directors, Directors) and secured their attendance at each of our events. • Project managed each event within the VIP portfolio - this included the planning, coordination, logistics and delivery as well as onsite management. • Attended networking events and met with potential, high profile VIP’s, • Maintained and managed relationships clients (sponsors, associations and media organisations). • Budget management (internal); utlising Google sheets & Excel including reconciliation post event. • Project documentation: created project schedule and running order. • Leadership – employed VIP executive and managed and conducted employee review.

  • With Informa, I implemented the VIP events strategy within the portfolio of international telecoms events (ranging from 200 – 4,000 people). This included organising CxO dinners, breakfast briefings, speed networking, exclusive product launches and private networking lunches for clients; SAP, Intel, Oracle, Huawei, Microsoft, Vodafone, Orange, STC, TATA, Qualcom and Ericsson.
