My name is Honey Williams, I am Renaissance woman, an Artist, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Singer. Decolonising beauty, identity, race, music and history currently inspires my art. As a Singer Songwriter, I’ve performed all over the UK and Europe. I am the Director of an alt choir called Gang of Angels and I’m now a PT Lecturer in Singing at Nottingham Trent University. My ‘Image Activism’ helps inform ‘Natural by The Pickyheads’, a Facebook blog that focuses on increasing love for women of African descent via discussion, art and events, attracting 11k+ worldwide.

- 'Windrush Scandal’ – Illustration for the Front Cover of Leftlion MagazineLeftlion Magazine is a Nottingham based magazine, ‘who make a monthly magazine about all the cool stuff in Nottingham.’ I was asked to create an illustration for their June 2018 issue of Leftlion, I was given an open brief. I chose to base the theme of my work on the #WindrushScandal as protest piece and also to commemorate 70yrs since the Caribbean community immigrated to the UK as British citizens 1948-1971.
