Established my own fashion brand Gandapore that creates unique womenswear garments that are infused with smart textile technology. The collections are made from thermochromic pigments that change colour when stimulated by temperature changes.
Assisted in compilation of material for Health Tech Vol 4 and responsible for editing the magazine cover, editorials and advertising pages in both electronic and print versions.
Organised a fashion show for graduates from LCF, in collaboration with Spitalfields Student living. Responsible for recruiting designers, models, backroom staff, makeup artists, photographers and videographers for the show. Helped organise workshops for designer Jane Bowler and her team. Assisted in running the workshop and creating marketing and promotional content for the brand.
Assisted with day to day running of the studio along with the designer's personal requests. Organised meetings with suppliers and maintained inventory records.Helped identify current and future market trends.
Major roles included pattern cutting, stitching and quality control. Took over the patterns after the initial drafts were made by the head pattern cutter. Played a key role in the creative process for the brand's A/W' 13 collection.
Gained understanding and experience on how to create, develop and present portfolio. Successfully completed the course with Merits and Distinctions.
