- Dragon Sculpture Commission, Left Bank LeedsI was commissioned by Left Bank Leeds gallery to produce a sculpture for the Heritage Open Days weekend, commemorating the gallery's former existence as a church - whose patron saint once defeated a Dragon. The 3.1m tall sculpture is made of digitally printed corrugated carboard, mirror card and PVC.
- Mural - South Bank, LeedsIn 2017 I was commissioned by Leeds City Council to help regenerate a heritage building on the city's South Bank. The artwork responded to the history of the area by remixing iconography from its past, present and imagined future into a long 'mind map' of the South Bank. The design was digitally printed onto 1700 square feet of aluminum composite and was featured on the website of 3A, who manufacture Dibond.
- 'A Graphic War' - Sculpture SeriesIn 2015 I won a Leverhulme Trust artist-in-residency with Leeds Museums and Galleries. Working with the curator of Great War artefacts, Lucy Moore, I designed four large-scale sculptures that were displayed across Leeds in Novemnber 2015. The artworks were subsequently exhibited at the National Archives in London from October 2016 to April 2017, and were featured in a video documentary.
- Installation - Oxford Museum of Natural HistoryI was commissioned in early 2018 to produce an installation for the University of Oxford's Natural History Museum, to coincide with their new 'Settlers' exhibition. I responded to the theme of human settlement and migration, both in the past and present. The artwork was manufactured out of Dibond and was on display from February until September 2018. It was featured on the website of 3A, who manufacture Dibond.
- 'Phoenix' - Michael Kors Building, RotterdamI was commissioned by the City of Rotterdam, via agency Mothership, to design a mural for the City's new 'Make It Happen' rebranding campaign. The brief was to create an interactive artwork that would invite tourists and locals to pose in front of the mural and take photos. I therefore created a 'video game console' that allows participants to express their feelings via various icons (such as Love, Protest, Happiness, Awareness, Justice, Peace) at the bottom. - 'Golden Age' - Amstel Tower, AmsterdamI was asked by agency Arttenders to design a mural for the foyer of the new Amstel Tower skyscraper in Amsterdam. Client Provast Developers wanted the artwork to reference the famous murals in the next door Amstel Train Station, painted by Peter Alma in the 1930s. I used a similar colour pallette and iconographic style to tell a story about the history of transportation and architecture in the Netherlands, while incorporating references to Dutch masters.
