Ian works in global environments across Europe, China, the United States, and Australia on both commercial and high-end ventures ranging in scale from master plans and buildings, to interiors, products and software.
Initially trained as an architect, Ian set out in a variety of roles including buildings, interiors, and art commerce prior to shifting into wider design (product/project, brand, vision), tech and computation integration, business design and growth, and leadership.
Presently based in London, Ian is the currently the Managing Director at Tom Dixon, Design Research Studio.
