For the past year and a half, I have worked hand-in-hand with indigenous communities in Colombia, developing a brand, from designs to photo and film production, that connects their skilled craftsmanship with the international market. I am graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of Southern California, I have vast international experience working in different creative fields, and I have contributed in script and idea development, budget and schedule design, and art direction of two Hollywood series, one independent film and several short films, photo and event productions.
I had the opportunity to support the Executive Producer of the upcoming Barbarella adaptation for Amazon Studios with the linguistic and cultural intricacies in the adaptation of the french graphic novel for the international market. As part of the Development Department, I read, analysed and assessed incoming scripts and original sources being considered for production. I was also tasked with organising and updating changes to shooting scripts for the third season of NBC’s Hannibal The De Laurentiis Company is home to large Hollywood productions such as War & Peace (1956), Red Dragon and the TV series Hannibal. Created by the late Italian producer Dino de Laurentiis, it is now headed by his wife Martha de Laurentiis.
Evie & Moo is the result of a project created for the Social Entrepreneurship competition at the London School of Economics. We collaborate with indigenous communities in Colombia, updating their fashion garments for the international market As the Creative Director I was in charge of the brand identity and its development. I designed the patterns for a line of knitted summer bags, as well as creating the editorial, photo and video content for social media and print Currently the project is being reworked with the help of the LSE
During my time at Creative Partners Group I was involved in analysing scripts and parts for our select roster of top Hollywood talent, as well as helping them with character development and audition practices . Daily tasks included administering daily casting submissions and bookings, and organising and managing office affairs and schedules
At Resplandor Films I was part of a small and talented group of creatives that made a feature film sold to United International Pictures Latin America for distribution in the South American market. Some of my biggest contributions and roles included: • Secured distribution with United International Pictures • Raised US$1million, as part of a team of 6, meeting the estimated budget • Managed production providers and shooting schedules • Supervised wardrobe and make-up development, set design, and others
Montgomery Coal is a Latin American cocking coal production company. It trades regularly with Brazil, China, and the UK. Some of my biggest contributions and roles included: • Participated in succesful negotiations for the sale of iron ore mining concessions • Oversaw initial negotiations with prospective clients in the UK, the USA, and others • Supervised the translations and documentation of SPAs
At Stampa Comunicaciones, I was in charge of managing the image, public relations and press of Colombian celebrity chefs the Rausch Brothers, as well as collaborating in the strategy development for other clients. Some of my biggest contributions and roles included: • Conceptualized and executed the launching event for the Colombian branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland • Secured and monitored three corporate branding collaborations, including a magazine column and a tv show for the Rausch Brothers
