About me
Iliyana Ilieva-Gulamerian is a professional with a diverse portfolio of experience in marketing & communications, program management, business operations, events planning, and team enablement. Shortly after completing a degree in Economics and Politics at the University of Exeter, Iliyana joined Amazon as a trainee and was one of the first marketeers in the EMEA region focusing on cloud computing. In her 7 years at Amazon, she held various positions, from trainee to a people manager: she is currently the Operations and Enablement Lead for the Global Developer Relations organization at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In her role she manages a team of Program Managers covering business reporting, analytics, budgeting, video production, internal communications and events. Her team supports the global execution of business strategy, drives process efficiency and employee upskill at scale. Prior to that after she was the Startup Marketing Lead for UK and Ireland at AWS, where she was responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution of programs that support startups’ cloud education, give young companies a platform to share their stories and uncover new partnership opportunities within the wider AWS and Amazon ecosystem. As a result, in 2018, Iliyana was recognized on the Women in FinTech Powerlist for her special contribution to the UK FinTech sector. Iliyana is passionate about hiring and developing the best talent, physical and mental wellbeing, as well as creative expression of any sorts (music, art, crafts, cooking, travel...)
