About me
I’m a graphic designer with experience across digital, print, brand identity, art direction and photography. I was born in Moscow, Russia and now based in Edinburgh, UK. After 7+ years in digital marketing, having worked with such clients as Microsoft and Skyscanner (growth + social media + apps + SEO), I followed my passion and fully transitioned into graphic design. I enjoy creating simple and effective design solutions. My approach always starts with critical thinking and gaining a thorough understanding of a task: asking questions, looking at data analytics and defining clear metrics of success. I believe great design is never created in isolation. It comes from close collaboration and mutual trust. In my spare time, I enjoy making portraits of people I meet on the streets, drinking cappuccino, collecting Japanese action figures, and travelling around the world. • Unspiration
Unspiration“Stop whining, start grinding?” No, thank-you. Bored by the dull ‘motivational’ posters I saw every day, I decided it was time to come up with something more interesting. Certain quotes are so overused they’ve become meaningless, which is what prompted me to come up with Unspiration — a shop that sells horribly honest gifts. They’re perfect for people who need a reality check, or those you want to wind up. My goal was to create a brand that stood out from the rest, and what better way to d
  • Welcome card for Skyscanner
Welcome card for SkyscannerWhen new hires join the marketing team at Skyscanner, we want them to know they’re part of a strong and supportive group. My goal was to communicate our team’s values and make newcomers feel welcome. They discover this card on their desks on the first day of work. A card is printed on a thick paper with a soft-touch finish; coated on the back. Skyscanner is a leading global travel search site; a place where people are inspired to plan and book directly from millions of travel options at
  • Frustration. Black Friday
Frustration. Black FridayBlack Friday is a big deal for businesses all over the world, with the hype surrounding the huge discounts on offer. Online customers often buy a lot of stuff they don’t need, which results in them feeling frustrated a few weeks later. However, when people miss out on purchasing deals and discounts, this also leads to stress and annoyance. To save people’s time and promote our shop, Unspiration, we offered Frustration straight away: a real landing page promoting a non-existent product, which

  • The Walk
The WalkLeith Walk is one of the longest and most vibrant streets in Edinburgh. Along with being incredibly multicultural, it’s bursting with energy. Indian restaurants, Scottish chip shops, Mexican takeaways, Portuguese coffee shops, Polish supermarkets, Canadian bagels, African hairdressers, tanning salons, hostels, pet shops, furniture, PC repairs, games, bikes, vintage clothing, jewellery — Leith Walk has it all. Almost every day I walk up and down this street, drinking coffee, buying grocerie
  • Street Portraits
Street PortraitsTaking photos of strangers is both exhausting and exciting, and sometimes scary. However, if I walk past an interesting character and do nothing, I feel a million times worse because I end up kicking myself over the lost opportunity. When you do manage to take a portrait, it feels incredible: that overwhelming feeling when someone you’ve just met looks straight at your camera, that little bit of awkwardness in the portrait which is often necessary for the magic to happen… then the process of ‘
