About me
I am a creatively driven, hard working individual looking for design work within the fashion industry having just graduated from Loughborough University studying Textiles. Looking for opportunities within buying or sourcing fabrics for womenswear, or design roles.
Projects
  • Herbaceous Paradox Womenswear Tailoring Collection
Herbaceous Paradox Womenswear Tailoring CollectionThis project is based on the idea of creating womenswear tailoring fabrics that reflects the energy and flair of the generation that will be wearing it. The target age range being young women in their 20-30s where there is a current transition of suiting no longer only being for workwear. My aim is to revise the current perceptions of women’s suiting by making the samples in this collection exude the vibrancy found within this target age range. This project uses monochrome architectural elements

•Liaised with other sourcing offices worldwide in addition to sending out sourcing requests in order to find specific fabrics requested for the womenswear tailoring designers. • In charge of requesting all sampling availability of fabric in order to then action the sample orders, lap dips and strike offs for my department, keeping track of all data so that the all the separate teams could be up to date with lead times and developments. • Used initiative to change the sample order board system so that there was more fluidity between the designers and the sourcing department. • Participated in mill meetings to see new fabric ranges, picking out fabrics that would be of interest to the de- signers. • Created key trend boards/ product strategy boards in order to display the current fabric trends to heads of department in a clear and concise manner.
