About me
Born in 1994 on a small island in Azores, called São Miguel, then moved to Lisbon where she studied Design and is currently working as Freelancer. Looking for a new studio to adventure and have a design opportunity abroad. All artists, especially designers are made by their references that empower and develop their analyses of everyday situations. Throughout my work I try to show how my interests take part on the creative process. Views of the world and their cultural shapes that’s what really matters to the design field. From visual arts to music, this small cultural pieces create a bigger picture. Have a new project in mind? Let me know.

  • Book of Fragment
Book of FragmentFragment - what remains of an ancient work; Part from a book, a speech. What to think about when building a book? A set of pages that narrate moments, clusters in libraries, cataloged knowledge strips. Pieces of a whole taken from its original context inherit new meanings. A series of quota codes taken from the collection of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation's Art Library enrich a thematic collection, from Geography and Cartesian graphics to the digitization of book pages in various languages. Punctuating this tripartite narrative, we find texts such as the Library of Babel by Jorge Luís Borges and considerations about the fragment in the center of history and visual culture. The texture of the pages in black contrasts with the stimulating colors of the risography. This compilation can be read sequentially or by disassembling the three pieces that allow an individual reading.
  • Massin/ Faucheux
Massin/ FaucheuxMassin - Faucheux is a serie composed of three paperback books documenting the journey of two French designers, Robert Massin and Pierre Faucheux, during the mid-twentieth century. Each volume of the series is the product of a reflection on the approach of these authors around the book as an object. Le Style, Le début de l'image and L'architecte du livre, were the titles chosen to characterize the volume as a single, unified piece. In order to enable a double reading, the collection was designed to highlight the perspective of each designer that emerges from the two-dimensional perspective. The selection of each author quotes allows, through the choices of typography used, to highlight points of view by putting them in dialogue. Having the Gallimard´s pocket editions and Penguin Classics as an inspiration, Massin - Faucheux challenges the graphic panorama both in a formal and conceptual level, exploring the potential of the book.
  • [re] titled
[re] titled[re]titled is a special edition about appropriation, that explores the work of four artists and four designers, whose work was developed between the 70's and the 90's. The publication’s title - [re]titled - comes from the concept of appropriation and from the relations among authors. The publication can be seen in two points of view. The reader can choose to read it in a predefined page sequence or, by separating the spreads from the whole edition. In the last case, it is possible to establish a
  • What if politics ended tomorrow?
What if politics ended tomorrow?E se a política acabasse amanhã? - What if politics ended tomorrow? — Brings together contributions on the production of Communication Design’s graduate students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon’s University. We have drawn a parallel between politics as the construction of a collective future and the journey - the academic course of a group that understands that "the future is not so much the thing that should be guessed as something we must imagine and construct." - Daniel Innerarity. The exhibition’s narrative was divided into two moments and galleries“Conhecer um tempo diferente“ (to understand another era) - to deepen the knowledge and to relate concepts from our historic paths, to better understand the fabric of humanities memory and legacy. “Intervir no nosso tempo” (to participate on the present society) - the translation of knowledge acquired in matter that transforms the space around us, the Willingness to change and to build. We are responsible for design and elaborate communication supports such as posters, print and digital invitations, program, sheets, totem and a shop window. Materials that were produced using various techniques like silkscreen. For the exhibition, we also produced the furniture, cnc letters and a video installation. This communication journey had also a publication and a website that were designed by fellow colleagues from our graduates class. More info at - eseapolitica.belasartes.ulisboa.pt
  • FCH — 25 Years
FCH — 25 YearsThe following paper illustrations where made for the 25 year commemorative publication of the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University (FCH). For the cover we made a representation in model of the Faculties site plan using a blue chromatic paper. Two spreads were also drawn in form of a hand-cut map, in which several paths of FCH alumni were recorded around the world.
  • Gulbenkian Citizen Program
Gulbenkian Citizen ProgramThe Active Citizenship Program (Programa Cidadania Activa) is an instrument to support Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), which runs from 2013 to 2016 and is funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants). Its management is the responsibility of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, selected through a public tender launched in 2012. The high level of requirement for access to funding derives from the rules governing the management of EEA programs in the 16 beneficiary European countries. The idea was to visually translate data that correspond to the program report and to illustrate the mission of the NGOs represented. Thus, the graphic spot is accompanied by the drawing of people, since these associations work with people and for people.
