Recently graduated MA Graphic Design in London - based University for the Creative Arts. More than two years experience in Graphic Design field including freelance work.   • CREATE YOUR ADVETURE BOOK
    CREATE YOUR ADVETURE BOOKThis project was my final major project, which is an inspirational book about travelling. The book is meant to help people develop their travel mentality in order to start creating adventures. It will help people to overcome their travel fears, build up mental strength so they could easily deal with difficulties on the road. The audience will be mainly people who want to indulge in adventure and to leave without a plan, but don’t have the courage to do it. In regards to the visual language I tried to express the feeling of the unknown, the discovering of new places, new people, new smells… I used the language of travel maps in a way to capture the essence of traveling, without using the maps as their main purpose – finding a destination. I crumpled different travel maps, photographed them, and apply them throughout my layout, as a way to say that you don’t need a map to find YOUR destination. In the illustrations there are lines, which you usually see in maps to indicate the roads and streets, I used just the outlines with the intention to show that there are many roads you can take to, you don’t need to know the exact address. On the back cover there is a qr code to a website which I intend to develop in a future, where people can ask questions and find the answers to from other travelers, about traveling. To share experience and help other people.
  • Retrospective of Martin Scorsese movies
    Retrospective of Martin Scorsese moviesThis is a D&AD new blood 2015 brief by Monotype. The challenge was to be created a new visual language for film advertising, that relies only on typography. It had to be chosen an art director of our choice and three of his movies. The idea was to be used laser cutting for making letters and photographing them in certain way. To capture the essence of the movies that were chosen, was used directed light and playing with the shadows. In Hugo (2011) Scorsese picture centers on a mystery involving Hugo’s late father, an automaton and bitter toy-shop owner. The luxurious use of 3D and the care he takes over the emotional impact, is virtuosic. A touching ode to the wonders of imagination and cinematic history. New York, New York (1977) is an American musical drama, that shows the real life on the New York's jazz stage. A love story between a jazz saxophonist and a cabaret singer. Shutter Island (2010) is a rococo thriller about a missing mental patient on an island full of them. A movie where fantasy and history (both personal and cultural) uncomfortably mix into one paranoia-infused stew.
  • The Big Shoot Experience
    The Big Shoot ExperienceThis is a promotional advertisement for photography workshops with Master Photographer Damian McGillicuddy in which I have participated. All the pictures in the project are taken by me. I chose to layout the text and the pictures in perspective because it reminds me of the inside camera lenses, as the whole workshop is about photography and cameras.
