  BABILONIA (2020)BABILONIA dives into the New Orleans fashion scene, examining 90s Hip Hop culture through the lens of a local filmmaker, Benjamin Simmons. Benjamin speaks about the phenomenon of Bally Animals, a luxury Swiss shoe that took New Orleans by storm in the 90s. The documentary uses the Bally story to examine the misrepresentation of black culture in the mainstream media, and how local filmmakers can forge a new narrative for their communities.
