    Amplifon - award winning scriptItalian hearing health tech brand Amplifon has worked with SapientRazorfish to create a beautiful app that greatly improves the use of hearing aids. I was asked to write the script for an award entry video, and it won an Epica award in 2018 already!
  • Brand Strategy for Badoo
    Brand Strategy for BadooAll new brand strategy for meet-new-people app Badoo. I was asked to address the messaging of the hugely successful Badoo app and its 330 million global users. The company wished to target a UK and US female 18-34 urban audience. The strategy I finally proposed inspires connections and eminates warmth, community, authenticity and trust.

    Isabel ServalIt’s time. We exchange glances and no words. This is what we’ve been waiting for. In our party heels we walk to the big house, careful not to step in any muck on our way. A bat flies right past my sister’s ear and she gasps. They’re lined up on the porch as we approach. Tall, stern and a bit creepy in the dark. Sounds of a party inside. A light comes on; the figures turn out to be staff. The door opens and he steps out. Takes our hands, embraces us. This stranger who says he’s our father.

    Isabel ServalI desired my brain empty, and filled it with the sounds of the slot machines. The satisfying rattle, the comforting pings. Of course, I tried meditation to silence the racket inside my head, but it failed to offer the comfort I craved. The soft faux-leather stools, the dizzying carpet, the nauseating colour on the walls. And the penetrant stench of false hope. To this my mind surrendered; it was perfect.
