I’m a graduating illustrator and 3-dimensional designer with a passion for colour, composition and storytelling. I take a lot of inspiration from spaces I experience and places I visit, capturing my thoughts through drawing and writing. I am particularly interested in how narratives can be communicated spatially and through user interaction or product function. I work with a range of media and processes including painting, screen printing, patchwork, laser-cutting and even videography! I am always eager to expand my portfolio and am up for new challenges so if you have anything in mind then do please get in touch! email@example.com
Within my role I work Front of House, liaising with visitors about exhibits and ensuring their correct etiquette, whilst being a polite and presentable face of the gallery.
This was my shortlisted submission for the illustration category of the Batsford Prize 2016. I designed a children's book in response to the theme 'Recycle, Reuse, Reclaim'. http://www.isabellamitchell.co.uk/Batsford-Prize-Entry
A national competition in which I created an entry based upon a graphic design brief. For my winning I entry I received a cash prize and a two-month paid placement http://www.tigerprint.uk.com/
