About me

Driven, creative individual intrigued by the influence the fashion industry has on consumer purchasing habits, particularly interested in researching and analysing data which brands use to make buying, merchandising and marketing decisions to appeal to their target audience. Working in a high street shoe store for four years alongside studying media and cultural studies ignited this interest in understanding the buying and merchandising sector of the fashion industry, and the need to meet consumer needs and demands. Finding out the who, what, where and why they are persuaded to my a product and how do companies use this information to produce and sell to them. These trends are different all over the world, depending on living standards, cultural values and accessibility.
