This degree encouraged me to think critically about the role of media communications in the digital age and work with texts, data and images to produce various types of media content in the form of blogposts and visual advertisements for instance. As part of the curriculum, I had the chance to collaborate with Transparency International, an NGO combatting global corruption. I worked in a team to research fraudulent individuals using their wealth to buy up London’s real estate and we presented our findings in the form of digital artefacts.
With this degree, I learned to juggle various theories and implement them into briefs. I also learned a lot about current affairs.
