I have just completed one year of study on the PgCert Design for Visual Communication. My modules included Typography, Type Classification, Type Hierarchy, Colour, Visual Grammar and Information Design. I was able to master a basic level of animation and motion graphics, but have come away wanting to develop my skills with print media. It was an eye-opening year, and I hope to continue the lessons learnt and now expand my career in graphic design.

After 1 year of study at UK's no.1 university to study journalism, I came away with a defined portfolio of reporting, researching and writing skills. I was trained to write in a variety of different styles, but also in the production of a magazine. In our final unit, I was elected to be the annual university publication, X City's, Creative Director. This allowed me to get an excellent insight into all aspects of creating a publication, and proved to be an invaluable experience when it came to applying for jobs.
