About me
I began to develop a true fascination with everything ‘design’ whilst working in London within the interiors and marketing industries. I’ve recently graduated from Shillington College and am now entering the world of graphic design. The most important part of any project comes from the idea itself and seeing how the concept evolves and takes form is for me, the most exciting stage of the design process. From an early age I was always drawing intricate doodles and I’m currently trying to master modern calligraphy. Since studying graphic design I’ve developed a key interest for packaging, layout and typography. On another note, nothing beats good quality stationery. The thicker the paper, the better.
Projects
- Book Cover: Student ProjectThe project was to create a specialised book cover using elements made by hand. Perspective and illusion were explored through the art of ‘zentangle’ as well as layering paper in order to represent the themes of fantasy and reality in C.S. Lewis’ ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’.
- Top Dog: Student ProjectThe brief was to develop the branding for a small business and design the appropriate packaging for their boutique products. ‘Top Dog’ sells a boutique range of luxury dog grooming products inspired from the essence of the British countryside. Products include 'Fur Spray For Swag' and 'Nose Suave Salve For Sniffing'.
