I began doing freelance work alongside my fulltime job at Alexanders as I was eager to do more work in the field in media, through using my experience in sales I began calling/visiting businesses in the local area offering my services to them as a freelancer. Once I had secured a few jobs, I began teaching myself new skills online, ensuring I’d be able to offer my clients the very best service.
Lettings and Marketing Consultant

I initially worked in the lettings department, conducting viewings, valuing properties & bringing properties on to the market, dealing primarily with landlords & students. As time progressed the director of the company entrusted me with commercial & sales property viewings too.
In-between working as a negotiator for the various departments, I also began on enhancing the company’s presence online. This included running social media campaigns and training all the staff on how to take better photographs of the properties we were marketing.
In May of 2016 I put forward a proposal to redesign the company website. This was approved and I was the project leader for the website redesign, this involved market research, focus groups within the office and constant communication between Alexanders’ directors and the web company developing the new website.
In January 2017, Alexanders opened a new office in Cardiff and I relocated to Cardiff to open the new office. My role in the Cardiff office has been varied, from training new staff to running marketing campaigns, conducting viewings, marketing properties, negotiating sales & rentals, ensuring all tenancies and sales are completed correctly with correct paper work signed, valuing properties alongside running the office on a day to day basis.
