I was approached by the Director to assist with a new office re-location and re-vamp. Once the relocation was complete, my role focused more on CAD Design where I would liaise directly with Project Managers running multi-million pound renovations. -Working within AutoCAD on product Details -Creation and maintenance of website via Wordpress -Managing internal systems such as Office 365, Dropbox -Dealing with IT related (Sage, Microsoft Project etc) -Overlooking lease/contract agreements -Prepare for certifications and accreditations such as Green Deal Approved -Arrange accommodation for required staff.
I was offered the role at Egg London of handling all online marketing and promotional activity alongside Head of Marketing. The main goal of bringing myself into the venue was to revamp the existing system and bring a new fresh feel to the market. The team were a pleasure to work with. -Managing event uploads to social media sites. -Handling all activity on Egg London Podcasts. -Liaising with outside promoters and artists to receive as much promotional material as possible. Such as exclusive mixes, artwork, interviews and giveaways. -Making contact with new media partners to share Egg London’s activity. -Sourcing record label showcases to perform at the venue. -Manage Egg London’s Soundcloud page making sure all guest artists have a designated mix to accompany press releases/features. -Write up a weekly report of growth on social media sites. -Organise flyering teams to distribute our weekly event listings all across London, whilst targeting student areas. -Providing on the night support liaising with artists.
I joined Electric Brixton (formally The Fridge) during the £1 million refurbishment process. I was hired to provide marketing and promotional assistance to help relaunch this historic music venue in South London. I worked together with a small experienced team and directly with the investors on all aspects of running and managing the venue and its events. -Working with and promoting artists including Carl Cox, Skrillex, Primal Scream, Professor Green, Alabama Shakes, Andy C, Beardyman, Zane Lowe and Nero. -Working directly with major promoters such as Lock n Load, London Warehouse Events, Cocoon, SJM Concerts, Metropolis Music, Live Nation etc. -Looking after all social network sites: Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. -Managing editorial content for website -Managing all ticketing activity for the venue. -Liaising with PR Team -On the night preparation such as Guest list, ticket prints, riders. -Managing customer database, sending out e-flyers, newsletters. -Key holder responsibility
My first step into the music industry was through an internship at CR2 Records, I was set various tasks such as compiling monthly album mixes for iTunes release, sending CD promotions to music industry clients and assisting the artist management program. I also played a major part in the organization of various CR2 live events including Miami Music Week 2011, attending and working at CR2 album launch at Space Ibiza and various other promotional nights throughout London and Kent.
