About me
I am a graduate from the University of Nottingham, now living in London.
I have developed my writing skills through my degree in American & Canadian Studies and by occasionally indulging myself in some more personal and creative writing. My dissertation discusses the importance of legal immigration to President Trump's artificial intelligence strategy. Ultimately, I argue that an influx of legal immigrants is vital to the U.S.' ability to achieve primacy in the field of AI and that this dependence is being strained by Trump's presidency. Although critical and analytical writing accounts for the bulk of my writing experience, I have recently been practicing screenwriting with the help of online courses. Starting from this October, I am enrolling on the Screenwriting Foundation Certificate course at Raindance. This will only occupy me on Tuesday evenings and I am open to any opportunities I get in writing or screenwriting.
Aside from my experience, I am a hardworking and flexible person. I am often very sociable and enjoy gaining new experiences. I have experience working in hospitality, retail and in more entrepreneurial roles. I have only included in my profile the work experience that is relevant to the job roles I am searching for.

I completed work experience at Spiked Media (2 weeks full-time).
In the office I assisted the team by researching images for their campaigns at the time. In the second week I was invited out on a shoot, where I assisted the camera team for the day.
