    Fake News IllustrationsA seection of illustrations from the Fake News Newspaper project - a satirical liberal newspaper that mocked the news global and political news of the month.

    Fake News!Fake News was a 28 page fully illustrated satirical newspaper that poked fun at the political and viral news of 2017.  Contrasting this was comical pieces such as "What Ever Happened To The Jolly Green Giant?", guides to protesting and hand-drawn puzzle pages it was a newspaper for anyone.  Accompanying this was a promotional strategy and a booklet on the strategic implementation of the project.  Skills: Layout, Illustration, Typography, Creative Writing, Marketing Strategy.     • Working on projects throughout the foodhall, wineshop and confectionery, from day-to-day shopping solutions to large-scale schemes and installations. • Project Management: Tendering out large scale builds to contractors. Sharing chosen designs, concepts and materiality and overseeing the process from brief to install. Ensuring projects are delivered on budget, on time and to the Selfridges’ standard. • Sourcing, buying and creating small scale props and installations. • Tracking financial spreadsheets. Raising POs and documenting all purchases to their correct cost codes. • Liaising with key stakeholders from across the business. Sharing feedback and implementing solutions to any problems that have arose. • Researching and creating mood boards of current and upcoming trends, design influences and materials, as well as competitor analysis. • Managing the inventory of old props, materials and fixtures. Re-purposing and reusing were appropriate. • Creating and completing training with staff on the visual merchandising standards for the departments. • Creating and implementing planograms.
