Currently studying Fashion Communication at Northumbria University, I have gained skills and experience across a variety of creative areas including graphic design, photography, journalism and fashion films. Looking to find experience in a creative environment to gain an insight to the industry. Although my course is Fashion Communication, the skills I have learnt are transferable to many different sectors. My passions lie within the gaming and the food sector, something I am currently experimenting in through my trend forecasting project. I also co-run a history blog, historichappenings.wordpress.com, and I am embarking on a new blog about food during historic periods and recreating the meals of that time.
Fashion Communication covers a broad range of topics building transferable skills in PR, copyrighting and creating content for both print and online. On the creative side, I have created magazine spreads, trend books and fashion films. During my time at university I have completed live projects with: >Dr Martens >Beamish Museum >O Public Relations >Household Design Consultancy
