About me
Jack Mudd is a multidisciplinary artist based in East London who is a music producer, song-writer, model and content creator.
Being a Pansexual, Non-binary Person of Colour, Jack draws influence musically from a plethora of artists mainly routed in R&B, but also for their admiration and love for ballroom culture. They admire how layers are caught within the voguing aspect of ballroom and, depending on the genre, incorporates those elements in their production style. Other influences derive from many artists like Lauryn Hill, Beyoncé, Summer Walker and Brandy just to name a few. These influences can be heard in Jack’s writing, production and general musicality.
Jack has had great success with their friend and recording artist Virgin X, having their song “Splinters”, which Jack produced, released in Attitude Magazine. They have also walked in London Fashion Week for Luis De Javier AW20, and further did a mix for the George Trochopoulos’ AW22 show. Jack has a few exciting projects coming up in both modelling and music, which they are very excited to share.
Being a minority in a creative world they would love to see more diversity across the creative industry. A wider representation for gender variant people and the multitude of ways in which they can present, but also an accurate and nuanced representation of Black people and People of Colour.
