Since 2014 I have managed our successful education outreach programme. Meeting photography course leaders to develop and implement my ideas. I have written and delivered presentations about our printing and exhibition services to students at 30 different universities around the UK and organised guided tours of our facilities. I have also developed and managed a ’Student Ambassador’ work experience scheme and attended educational conferences to promote the programme.
As Lab manager for Lomography I supervised the introduction of our premium in-house imaging services. This included negotiating with suppliers and outside contractors to obtain off-site professional photographic services. Initially working alone I learned all aspects of print production and associated maintenance, assuring the best quality before going on to train a team to deliver the same standards.
I proved myself as a confident and successful salesperson especially with the professional photographic products. I enjoyed the opportunity to share my knowledge with customers and to gain their trust via a thorough understanding of the technology and processes.
