My main responsibility is to present our services to establish and enhance relationships with potential or existing clients. Key duties include: ? Working as point of contact for internationally renowned artists, museums & galleries, curators, dealers, event planners and institutions. ? Providing support from initial one to one consultation through to promotion of the exhibition or event. ? Advising on aesthetics, practicalities and budgets, negotiating deals and providing formal quotations. ? Liaising with clients to organise File delivery, Printing requirements, Bespoke framing, logistics and edition structure. ? Providing market research reports and customer feedback, reporting to directors on market trends and competitors. Using of CRM software for reporting of B2B & B2C sales and working alongside the marketing department on campaigns and strategy. ? Maintaining confidentiality with regards to intellectual property and sensitive artworks ? Networking and attending events including international Art fairs and Symposiums, fostering collaborations, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with new or existing clients. Since 2014 I have managed our successful education outreach programme. Meeting photography course leaders to develop and implement my ideas. I have written and delivered presentations about our printing and exhibition services to students at 30 different universities around the UK and organised guided tours of our facilities. I have also developed and managed a ’Student Ambassador’ work experience scheme and attended educational conferences to promote the programme.
As Lab manager for Lomography I supervised the introduction of our premium in-house imaging services. This included negotiating with suppliers and outside contractors to obtain off-site professional photographic services. Initially working alone I learned all aspects of print production and associated maintenance, assuring the best quality before going on to train a team to deliver the same standards.
I proved myself as a confident and successful salesperson especially with the professional photographic products. I enjoyed the opportunity to share my knowledge with customers and to gain their trust via a thorough understanding of the technology and processes.
