Work history

Site Assistant

Creative Design and Build

Dec 2013
  • Within this Construction/Building Company my roles include assisting skilled workers with projects, keeping the site organised and keeping track of inventory by submitting orders and sorting deliveries. Communicating with clients and keeping them informed to ensure satisfaction and feedback. Admin work is required now and then using programs such as Excel for inventory and Word for invoices and letters

Talon Helicopters

Sep 2012 - Sep 2013
  • I spent a year in Canada on a work visa and began working at Talon originally as a temporary worker (on a 2 month basis). After the 2 months passed, I was offered to stay on as a permanent worker due to my eagerness, hardworking attitude and ability to pick up new skills. Duties involved assisting engineers and pilots with maintenance and repairs on helicopters, going out on test flights and assisting pilots on flights where deliveries needed to be made (for ex: places affected by snow). I also performed admin tasks such as keeping track of inventory, overseeing orders and deliveries, meeting with clients who privately owned helicopters and maintaining good relations with the suppliers and clients.

Wimbledon College of Battersea Arts Centre

Sep 2008 - Jun 2012
  • During my time at university, I collaborated with actors and directors on several small theatre productions. These projects were shown in the Wimbledon theatre and the Battersea Arts Centre. I designed/managed the lights in response to each performance and enjoyed the professional environment where everyone was punctual, hardworking and very focused. Work involved rigging, putting on live shows, using lighting/sound boards and maintaining equipment. We had the opportunity to work and rotate many of the roles in putting on a live show which gave me the fantastic opportunity to pick up skills in leading a team, communication, organisation, being self-motivated and many others
