Production Project Manager for creative projects delivering visual merchandising and window display schemes, pop-ups, sets, events and special projects. Looking to apply skills and experience to more photographic work - creating sets and environments for images across editorial, commercial and visual arts projects.
Work as part of the production team on retail windows, in-store displays, interiors, popups, press events and special projects Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial brief through to installation Work with design to ensure exciting and feasible solutions to client briefs Investigate to find the best possible materials and manufacturing method for each element being produced Budget for assigned projects and ensure that costs are maintained throughout project Set up and adhere to production timelines ensuring all key dates and deadlines are met Ensure the manufacturing approach is in line with budget and project timeline Overseeing the production of technical drawings and visuals, ensuring these are accurate and in line with the project brief/client expectation Source props or specialist equipment for hire or purchase Book locations, photographers and models for shoots when necessary Resourcing of appropriate freelance crew for in house production Overseeing production in the studios and Quality Control of all products Liaise with suppliers and contractors, maintaining good working relationships To think creatively to resolve any issues that may arise or affect project delivery Client relations – ensuring effective and timely communication throughout project, managing expectations, attending meetings with Account Manager Delegate tasks effectively to assistants when support is needed Arrange and oversee packing, allocating, delivery and installation of projects, from small one-off to international roll-outs, on-site where applicable
• Selecting and styling props and products to create inspiring window and in-store displays in line with corporate guidelines • Identifying visual opportunities around the store through regular shop floor walks • Overseeing the overall look and visual standards of the store • Visual support across company as part of the transfer team. Involvement in ‘Model Store’, creating and communicating new visual ideas to be implemented across all stores • Mannequin styling and maintenance • Renovating fixtures, props and equipment, sometimes using specialist paint effects and finishes • Working closely with Store and Commercial Managers to drive commercial success • Painting and decorating/repairs across store, fixtures and props • Ordering, organizing and implementing all signage communication for sale and promotional activity • Administrative duties relating to visual issues and supplies • Organization and maintenance of all back-of-house visual space • Working within a tight visual budget and minimizing stock loss through careful display product management and handling • Ensuring full Health and Safety compliance
