- INSITEThis project was created as an ethical fashion focused blog- ging network. My goal was to produce a blog for education purpose and interview young creatives who focus their work on ethical issues and produce work within this subject area. The blog promotes brands and designers who want to be promoted via social me- dia. INSITE gives a new genera- tion of ethical thinkers the chance to read stories, see films and connect with like-minded individuals. Through affiliate programs, sponsorships and brand pro- moting INSITE has been able to sustain it’s self and the fu- ture goal is to continue working towards creating a better future for those working within this industry.
- UN BOTTONING BRONTEAs a group task we were set a brief to interview a creative of any kind and create either a film or editorial piece of work. The goal of the interview was to find out how the fashion industry effects their work, if so how and what part does it play. Bronte is an underwear designer and fashion effects her styles, and the way she creates her work. The interview discuses her pas- sions, interests and motivations to spur her work to continue.
- Fashion social media managerMy 8-week internship with a designer resale company in surrey lead confirming my ambitions within the fashion in- dustry. My role was to manage all social platforms includ- ing Twitter, Face- book and the company website. Each day would consist of cop- ywriting and creating new content for social media, also to take photos of new designer stock and editing them for client view- ings. Designer research played a vital role, as each item of cloth- ing has to be verified as au- thentic and priced correctly. As the sole person responsible for this role, all content in my own work.
