An experienced social media strategist and producer at international production company Zodiak Media, creating and managing multiplatform digital projects for a wide range of UK broadcasters including the award winning Secret Life of 4 Year Olds for Channel 4 and Wild Things for Sky 1.
As the Social Media Producer for Zodiak Media UK I am the central point of contact for all social media strategy and training throughout our UK Production companies. My role includes: •Managing Zodiak Media corporate sites (CMS), LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. B2B and international press. •Development and implementation social media strategies (based on bespoke KPIs) and the subsequent content creation for production accounts throughout UK group, including paid ads where appropriate. •Management of startegies remotely where necessary via cloud project management including Basecamp and Slack. •Management of compliant scheduled and live publishing from production accounts to encourage audience engagement, manage UCG content (where necessary) and initiate audience outreach. Ensuring content created complies with OfCom, PACT and broadcasters’ regulations utilising my BBC standard editorial experience. •Using Brandwatch, Hootsuite data, Pulsar, Google Analytics and native insights to provide statistics, feedback and analysis of online campaigns (both in house and run by broadcasters) to present internally, develop strategies, casting, recommissions and pitching. •Presenting to senior management with data and insights gathered from the companies’ online campaigns to establish ROI, contribute to external commissioning pitches and provide guidance to other territories. •Video content creation includes memes, GIFs and promotional shorts using Adobe Creative Cloud. Briefing and overseeing the in house edit team or third parties commissions where necessary. •Liaising between production and broadcasters (C4, E4, BBC One, BBC Three, Sky, UKTV, NatGeo) and identifying / negotiating with production partners (BBC Food, Wellcome Trust, YouTube, Penguin Randomhouse) to ensure optimum response to brief. •Training assigned social media managers within production teams in order to manage or support the social media feeds for the production. This includes providing guidelines, workshops, one-to-one training. •Updating UK group on latest developments in digital technology and practices relevant to broadcasting. •Liaising with other Zodiak territories over international formats and consulting over social media strategies.
