I am an experienced multi-media strategist and exec producer at The Pool, an award-winning women’s digital publisher. ​ As the Head of Audio Visual for The Pool I’m responsible for all commissioning and overseeing delivery of all video and audio content published on the site – both editorial and brand-funded.

    As the Head of Audio Visual for The Pool, I’m responsible for all commissioning and overseeing delivery of all video and audio content published on the site – both editorial and brand-funded. With a core demographic of ABC1 women aged 25-44, our goal is to reach and engage with these very busy women, providing them with the right type of content for the time of day they’re browsing the site. Using the data provided to us by the platforms we use (GA, YouTube, Soundcloud, Acast), we’re able to develop and pivot our output based on what we know our audience engage with the most. Responsibilities: - Oversee strategy, direction and commissioning of all podcasts and videos across the-pool.com and our associated platforms (YouTube, Soundcloud, Facebook, Acast, Twitter, Instagram). - Managing in-house Podcast and Video Producers and staffing - Review, sign off and feedback on output - Third party production company commissioning - Talent management (internal and external) - Budget Management - Creative pitching (internal and external) - Network building - Developing and establishing brand guidelines specifically for AV output - Developing new AV formats - In-house technical development - Data analysis - Digital Production management (both editorial and commercial)

    As Social Media Executive Producer for Banijay UK I was the central point of contact for all social media strategy, implementation and training throughout the UK. My role included managing multi-platform digital campaigns including the award winning Secret Life of 4 Year Olds and The Crystal Maze for Channel 4 plus Eat Well For Less? on BBC One. Cast Study: Eat Well For Less: Identifying recipes as a KPI within the online community (particularly Facebook) and building content around this lead to increased engagement, community growth and developed the format for future series’. Data proving the audiences’ desire for recipes from the show lead to a publishing deal and is being used in brand licensing negotiations. Currently working with Penguin Randomhouse on online marketing campaign for Eat Well For Less recipe book, which is currently #2 on the Amazon Best-sellers list. I also initiated the Eat Well For Less Interactive Quiz / iWonder Guide campaign, liaising between BBC Food and digital agencies Fish in A Bottle and Applied Works via Basecamp. The quiz and guide for series 2 was considered a great success with a 95% completion rate. Case Study: The Secret Life of 4, 5 & 6 Year Olds: Devised a series of C4 commissioned VOD content for channel4.com to provide added value around the series. Liaised between production (RDF), broadcaster (C4) and post-house (Evolutions) to ensure brief met and created additional assets for use across social media to encourage engagement. VOD content had received 260k+ views as of November, the corresponding hashtag trended during each TX and optimised content for social distribution which led to the first 1m+ views on Facebook for broadcaster. Currently working with the Channel 4 Business Development team on an advertising deal with Pinterest via digital agency Stink Digital in order to promote the site using content from the Secret Life of Series during the ad breaks as part of their first ever on-air campaign.
