Active interest in sustainable fashion & handcrafting as an excellent exercise for
mental health & wellness, which I express through my upcycling brand, Girl With
the Golden Locket.
· I create a variety of hand textile applications, predominately embroidery & leather
painting to breathe new life into discarded clothing items
· Items sold in boutiques in East London and via Asos Marketplace
· I also teach beginner embroidery workshops in London to encourage others to upcycle
· I am passionate about helping reduce our tendency to discard out of date clothing
with a more ‘sassy’ version of make do & mend
