I currently work as the Lead Photographer and Content Creator at HomeHapp - a PropTech company - and am currently looking for a creative role with an established company as the next steps to furthering my career within photography and in a creative role.
I obtained my current job in Septmeber 2016 and was the first employee of the company. During my time with HomeHapp I have helped the company develop in a positive direction, have acquired many new skills and gained an immense amount of experience in creation and photography, including creating immersive 3D walkthroughs of homes using a 360° camera. I am a senior member of staff in the company and have trained and managed other members of staff and new photographers who have joined HomeHapp.
I studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University and graduated in 2014 with a high 2:1 result. For my final project at university, I recieved verbal recognition from tutors and the course leader of my degree, stating that it was “the best photography work they had seen in years”.
Being a freelance photographer has enabled me to improve and refine my photographic and editorial skills immensely. I have immersed myself into an array of varying briefs, working with many different personalities and always operating quickly and efficiently, producing high quality photographs for clients within a short time scale. I enjoy retouching photographs as much as taking them and believe it is essential to edit a photograph in order to create the most visually stimulating image. I also have a good knowledge of filming and editing video and have worked on several projects as a videographer and editor. I previously worked for a distingushed photographer as his assistant, which helped to greatly develop my photography and retouching skills.
I believe it is essential to be adaptable to any situation and I am competant in being able to work as an individual as well as being a team player. I always strive to make a positive impact and deliver the highest standard of work possible. Being a perfectionist makes me work harder and I am truly passionate about the quality of work I produce.
