Jake Hitchcock is a fine art photographer with a prominent interest in visually representing honest relationships between people and the landscape.
His expanding portfolio compromises landscape, architectural, documentary and portrait photography, with clear gravitation towards ambient light, delicate moments and restricted colour palettes.
Since graduating from Arts University of Bournemouth in 2018, Jake’s approach to image-making has become far more considered as he visually explores portraying deeper concepts and emotions into his work. As he shifts towards more commercial aspects in his newer work such as recent portraits, it is evident that this style of emotional and contemplative imagery remains and stands to play a consistent role in the future.

- WightExhibited at The Old Truman Brewery as part of the Free Range shows between 4th-10th July 2018, 'Wight' portrayed a visual relationship between myself and where I grew up, the Isle of Wight.
