Gallery Invigilator & Front of House Assistant
For my previous work role, my main priority was the welcoming and safety of visitors, invigilating the gallery spaces and making sure artworks were secure and working properly during the exhibition.
I also gained experience by working in the front of house position, for example, the selling of catalogs and books, stock replenishment and dealing with visitor queries in a professional manner.
The gallery also holds occasional events such as private views, curator talks, artist visits, VIP events for Frieze magazine staff and lectures at the Courtauld Institute, all of which I have had a hand in preparing guest lists, the set up and seating, basic logistics and working on the door greeting visitors.
Customer Assistant

My role included executing a high standard of customer service, providing information on products and conducting sales and refunds in a polite and professional manner.
Part of my role was also to maintain the shop floor spaces, which included stock replenishment, stock counts and the cleanliness of displays.
The role provided me with great knowledge on dealing with the general public, customer queries and customer needs.
