I have produced and presented on local radio since 2014. I have also played a key roll in the funding acquisition and formation of DragonTale Productions, an indie production company for North Wales. Since then I have gone on to work with Made In Manchester Ltd; this work has included production and voice work for multiple programmes for the BBC World Service, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5-Live, BBC Radio Wales and Deutsche Welle.
Projects
- The Rainbow Road To Tokyo on GaydioHere at Gaydio we’re bringing you some exclusive stories in the run up to the Olympics and Paralympics in Japan. More OUT LGBTQI+ athletes than ever before will he competing at the Games. And several of them - from all over the world - have been telling us about their hopes and dreams for Tokyo. These features are produced with support from The Audio Content Fund
- The Documentary - Women Dying For WorkKaroshi, or death from overwork, has been common in Japan for decades. It is often seen as part of ‘salary man’ culture where men commit themselves above all else to their employer. However little is ever said about women who die from Karoshi. Now the plight of women is coming more into focus following high profile deaths and signs more women are suffering.
- The Documentary - Bob Marley: An Extraordinary DayForty years after the death of reggae singer Bob Marley, British writer and dub poet, Benjamin Zephaniah, remembers the day Jamaica came to a standstill for the singer’s funeral. Bob Marley was laid to rest on the 21 May 1981, 11 days after dying from skin cancer.
