Promotional manager for well known club night based in Leeds. Established in 2012, Set One Twenty specialise in music driven events across the UK, hosting club nights and live music events. Since the launch of the brand in 2012, I have organised and managed a series of successful events, promoting the brands well-respected identity at clubs, festivals etc. My involvement in Set One Twenty shows commitment and drive to build a successful brand from the ground up. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this process from the beginning and felt a great sense of achievement when the events started to sell out every month.
Adaptor Clothing is a menswear retailer specialising in suiting, knitwear and footwear, with all brands taking influence from British subcultures. The company has a large online platform as well as a showroom presence based just outside London for local customers. The majority of the revenue comes from the online platforms, which is why my role is mainly focused around creating engaging content to drive online sales for brands such as Fred Perry, Dr Martens and Original Penguin. My responsibilities include: • Control of all social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. • Manage all live listings via the multi-channel Ecommerce server that we use (Volo). • Responding to any customer queries online, making sure that questions are answered in an informative manner. • Monitoring all stock levels in the Ecommerce inventory system, making sure that all sales are accounted for on a daily basis, as well as inputting new stock. • Writing all product content for the platforms that we distribute on (Website, eBay & Amazon). • Styling new products in the studio, creating suitable outfits that are then placed onto the mannequins ready to be shot. • Editing of all images, keeping to strict guidelines throughout the process.
Internship with London based Fashion/Music/Sport PR agency that specialise in creative content online. Main clients include the well-established menswear brands Farah and Original Penguin, as well as working with brands such as Jagermeister and Callaway Golf. The internship was highly rewarding and gave me professional exposure to various industries. I was dealing with clients on a daily basis which improved my communication skills, as well as getting an insight into how powerful engaging content can be when utilised in the right way on social media. Other duties included: Writing creative content for clients blogs. Assisting with any photography shoots outside of the studio. Scheduling clients’ posts using a social media management dashboard (Hootsuite).
