I have been fortunate to work within some fantastic agencies, collaborating on projects for some of the worlds biggest style & luxury brands. I started off as a designer for a content marketing agency in London, producing global magazines for brands such as Audi, McLaren, Bentley and Watches of Switzerland. This was followed with a role working in a newsroom designing The Daily & Sunday Telegraph national newspapers, whilst most recently I have freelanced across commercial trend & fashion magazines such as British GQ, Esquire UK, Elle UK and Empire, before arriving in Melbourne. Throughout, I have had the opportunities not only to submerse myself in print but also obtain strong skills in designing digitally, illustratively and graphically. I have art-directed and commissioned photoshoots across the UK and overseas as well as print-buying and rolling out publications for international delivery. I have always loved working as part of a team but also have the ability and motivation to take projects from concept to delivery as a solo designer. I am also founder of the platform The Design Shelf - celebrating the best in editorial and print design as chosen by contemporary creatives.Locked Pro Plan feature
Since mid-2016 I have been a freelance editorial graphic designer originally based in London, working across publications such as British GQ, Esquire UK, Elle UK, Empire Magazine and The Daily Telegraph Newspaper, and now Melbourne Australia where I have taken on projects for Melbourne Fashion Week and the RAA
I spent a year working in the newsroom of the Daily & Sunday Telegraph newspapers, as part of the live team designing sections such as News, Business and Sport. Within the year I covered events such as the Rugby World Cup, Brexit, US Elections and the Rio Olympics. Within my time I won two European News Design awards for my work on the the Euro 2016 football supplement, as well as producing the obituary supplement for the death of Muhammad Ali.
I gained great experience working in-house at a content marketing agency where I worked as a designer, and assistant art-director, on publication for global brands such as Audi, McLaren, Watches of Switzerland, Bentley and Oris. Roles included content conceptualising, photoshoot-direction and production, editorial design and digital application.
