Over the last 12 months I have had the pleasure of producing the ground-breaking Penguin Talks. This TED-talks style event series for schools enables students to hear from some of the most prolific global thinkers and public figures on relevant issues and themes impacting our societies today. As part of the Audience and Audio department at PRH I was tasked with re-imagining the live events strategy along with the Director for Penguin Live. In just under two years I oversaw all brand-led events pioneering the first ever Penguin Pride event, Penguin Pride Tour and the first ever Penguin Podcast Live with Arundhati Roy. I was also responsible for brokering exciting new partnerships with brands such as Gay Times, The Eden Project, Book Slam and Mayor of London. During my time at Penguin Random House, I produced and co-produced events & tours for some of the companies best known authors including: Reggie Yates (tour) Caitlin Moran (tour) Richard Branson Tim Peake Tom Hanks Arundhati Roy Ruby Wax Professor Stephen Hawkings Michael Palin Nadiya Hussain Yanis Varoufakis Nick Clegg
I was responsible for the design & delivery of a UK-wide programme of events to mark Shelter's 50th year. Managing teams around the country I oversaw a range of activations promoting the important historic work of the charity and creating a springboard for further awareness and increased brand performance. The event series included; special screenings, festival activations, exhibitions and live music performances.
Working under Matthew Millard-Beer (ex Regional Director, Interbrand), I managed a variety of branding, corporate identity and destination branding projects for international clients at this boutique branding & design agency. Managing a small creative team and budgets of up £250,000, briefs ranged from packaging design projects to implementation of visual identities for major aviation companies.
Working as part of the Iris Experience team I managed the delivery of activations across several accounts including: the launch of the Samsung GS7 (tour), Brita Water at Big Feastival and Club Wembley at Sportsfest. I also worked as a Production Co-ordinator on both the BMW & Mini pavilions at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
