- McDonalds Interactive Christmas TraylinerBlippar and McDonald’s partnered up to offer customers a joyous and unique way to celebrate the festive season. Users can blipp an interactive tray liner in-store and stand a chance to win great prizes. There are also different activations everyday, including a selfie feature, a game and a customisable avatar.
- Covent Garden's Augmented Reality Christmas WonderlandThroughout the festive period in 2016, people were invited to embark on an augmented reality treasure hunt to catch eight of Santa’s hidden reindeer, including the largest digital reindeer ever, which soared around that famous Piazza on their phones. People could also scan shop window posters to claim exclusive discounts and savings.
- Launch of the New £5 Note (Bank of England)For the release of the new £5 note in 2016, Blippar partnered with the Bank of England to give the public a sneak preview. Users could scan any existing Bank of England banknote and instantly see "The New Fiver" appear right in the palm of your hand via Augmented Reality & Artificial Intelligence technologies. You could also take a selfie with The New Fiver, share it on social media and learn about the new security features built into the note in this partnership between Blippar and The Bank of England.
