As a multi-disciplinary designer, I've worked in the creative industry for over 15 years, originally specialising in print production but now working in graphic & motion design, A/V editing and VFX. I'm also a video game reviewer and audio/visual artist.

  32blitThe latest project I worked on at Pimoroni was the branding of 32blit – a hackable, handheld games console – and a video for its Kickstarter launch. This involved logo design, animation, video editing and even a little sound design.

  Rushbond brandingWhile at The City Talking, some of my last jobs were working with Rushbond – property developers helping regenerate parts of Leeds. Three locations were up for redevelopment, of which I was asked to create fresh branding which referenced their past. These were the famous Leeds Corn Exchange, First White Cloth Hall and Goods Yard Leeds. I presented a variety of logo options for each before refining chosen paths before developing colour palettes, further branding options and use-case scenarios
• Showreel / 2021A collection of my greatest hits, packaged up into a snappy, electro-fied whole, including work done with BBC, The City Talking, Pimoroni, Thoughts Make Things and Jaywing. It's a mixture of 2D & 3D animation, compositing, VFX, data-driven visuals and motion graphics.
• TCT GamesWhile at The City Talking I created a few teasers for a potential project. Unfortunately it never got off the ground but the work was fun and challenging.
• KeybowPimoroni created a multi-function 3x4 mechanical keyboard with RGB keys and a lot of style. I created the packaging, promotional web banners and promo videos too.
• PicadeOne of my first jobs at Pimoroni as head of design was to create a promo video for their new DIY desktop arcade machine. Their previous designer (Lydia Lapinski of Thoughts Make Things) had created an 80s hyper stylised look for the packaging and storyboarded the promo before I took over.

As Specialist Designer at Capita, I'm part of an in-house comms team called Sparks Communications. My role is divided between motion and graphic design for the pensions sector. My work is predominantly in film, creating videos or 2D animations that serve as marketing material for web or ways for the client to explain complex topics, working from the storyboard phase to creating assets, editing, animating, colouring, sound design and mixing. Between larger video projects I help the design team with print work, UI design and interactive animation for web, with an additional focus on researching and utilising AI to improve our workflow. With clients such as M&S, Unilever and Teacher's Pensions, the standard of work is high and individual management of projects essential.
