About me
I have been working within Photoshop and other art working realms for over 13 years. After completing a 4 year apprenticeship within a Graphic Repro house in 2002 I dived straight into working on some of the worlds highest profile magazines, titles like GQ, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Marie Claire, Top Gear, World Of Interiors to name but a few. Having such high quality work material I was able to fine-tune my skill set in skin retouching, colour correcting, swatch matching, montaging, extensive cutout work and more. After a gap year travelling I went back into the magazine industry retouching for another publication. A shorter stint there then lead me in 2007 to my current position where I am the Head of Retouching. I am very fast and efficient as my job has an extremely high volume of images with tight deadlines. My expertise in Photoshop have also been utilised in helping others; I have prepared and given presentations on basics and advanced techniques, given tuition to groups and also one on one.

Retouching all image content for Area Magazine’s 5 regional issues. Any retouching to website/online content.
Work includes:
All of the showcased properties shown in the Rare sections.
Selection and retouching of all the front covers.
Retouching the gallery sections which have a high volume of images.
Retouching weekly newspaper and monthly magazine ads.
Corporate profile retouching for any manager and director shots.
Front office shots which can include extensive removal work. Also ensuring they all have a similar nighttime appearance that falls in line with the other offices.
Any retouching and montage work for any marketing campaigns.
Additionally to the magazine and online work I also provide help and tuition to the photographers, this can be from Photoshop basics to advanced techniques depending on their skill level. I have also prepared and given presentations to groups learning Photoshop.
